Seit dem 01.01.2008 hat der AC Lugano eine Fanfreundschaft mit dem nur 500km entfernten französischen
Traditionsverein Olympique Lyon. Die Führer der Anhänger haben dies, nach langjähriger Sympathie füreinander,
nun bekanntgegeben. Angestoßen wurde dieses Ereigniss durch die jeweiligen Manager der beiden Vereine,
Graf Zahl und Ray84, die man auch schon mal in den Kneipen Luganos oder Lyons antreffen kann.
Beide Vereine freuen sich auf eine gemeinsame Zukunft unter dem neuen Slogan:
"Geteiltes Leid ist halbes Leid"

- Der AC Lugano des BMO ist dem realen schweizer Fussballclub AC Lugano (Associazione Calcio Lugano) nachempfunden.
- Er liegt im schweizer Kanton Tessin und ist der Nachfolgeverein des FC Lugano, der 2001 Konkurs anmelden musste.
- Der AC Lugano spielt im Stadion Cornaredo vor maximal 15.000 Zuschauern.
- Der Spitzname des Vereins ist: "Bianco-neri"
