Neuerungen
Saison 6 hielt einige Neuerungen für die Manager bereit. Trainer waren verfügbar, Amateurteams konnten gekauft werden. Versteigerungen wurden eingeführt, Trainingslager und Spielsystem wurden umgestellt. Bedingt durch die Freizeit von Kuma konnten diese Neuerungen schnell eingefügt werden. Aber auch 2 sehr gewagte Aktionen wurden in Saison 6 eingeführt und im Nachhinein vom BMO Rat für schlecht befunden. Die Finanzspritze für 1. Ligisten in Höhe von 25 Mio € und für 2. Ligisten in Höhe von 10 Mio. € sollte den Managern ermöglichen die Neuerungen, wie Trainer oder Amateure in Anspruch zu nehmen. Die Manager dachten jedoch es sei eine Ausgleichszahlung für die kollektive Abwertung aller Spieler. Die kollektive Abwertung ist die zweite unliebsame Aktion, die der BMO Rat ablehnt. Dennoch sollte sie den Managern helfen mit den neuen Transfersummen und Gehältern klarzukommen, was jedoch gründlich missverstanden wurde. Bis heute scheint dem Durchschnittsmanager nicht klar zu sein, dass selbst für einen Verein wie Lens nur ein Vorteil entstehen konnte, durch die Abwertungen. (Anm.: Wer mehr Geld hat, kann sich auch nur das Beste leisten, und dessen Mannschaft wird dann auch schneller stärker.) Die Anhebung der Gehälter wäre in jenem Masse ohne Abwertungen allerdings noch gravierender ausgefallen.
Die Konsequenz des vielen Geldes und der neuen Features war, dass die Features ausgenutzt und überstrapaziert wurden, die meisten Manager also nicht mehr kalkulierten und sich beschwerten, es sei zu wenig Geld vorhanden. Sarkasmus pur. Die Massnahmen schlugen in Ihrer Gesamtheit also fehl, allerdings führte die Featurevielfalt zu einem Imagegewinn.
Ereignisse
In Saison 6 gab es eine Überraschung in England. Manchester wurde Meister. Aber diesmal Manchester City. In den neuen Ligen Spanien und Benelux wurden FC Sevilla und der PSV Eindhoven Meister. Ein Noobie namens Pimsen deklassierte die Konkurrenz Real (Kuma), Deportivo (Kopfnicker2k), Barcelona (Jenen) und Bilbao (D-Lehm). Manager des Jahres wurde allerdings Jetty, der mit seiner Roma alle 4 Titel holen konnte. (Meisterschaft, Pokal, Championsleague, Amateurmeisterschaft). Weltmeister wurden Kumas Brasilianer, bei der ersten ausgespielten BMO WM.
