Marcos Pálsson ist ein faröischer Stürmer der Stärke 5. Für ihn existiert kein reales Vorbild, er kam somit vermutlich über ein Scouting ins Spiel. Pálsson war der Auslöser für die Initiative Daniels zur Aufnahme der Faröer Inseln in den Nationalmannschaftsspielbetrieb, welche letztlich von Erfolg gekrönt war. Marcos Pálsson war durchgängig Teil des Nationalmannschaftskaders der Inseln im Nordatlantik und konnte sich stetig verbessern, so daß er - bei seiner Berufung noch Spieler der Stärke 2 - mittlerweile mehr oder minder als Stammspieler betrachtet werden kann und schon zu einigen Einsätzen bei EM und WM kam.

Auch wenn es nicht in seiner Transferhistorie abzulesen ist, so ist Pálsson kein St. Pauli Eigengewächs, er wurde als 2er vor einigen Saisons zunächst als Leihgeschäft mit Option eingekauft, die Option wurde letzten Endes gezogen.

Marcos Pálsson ist zur Zeit Kapitän der Amateurmannschaft St. Paulis.

Gelegentlich trat Pálsson auch in der BMO-Soap Gute TATs Schlechte TATs auf. So ist er hier u.a. dafür verantwortlich, daß der brasilianische Torwart Elber sich auf den Faröer Inseln einbürgern lassen will.
