Der Esbjerg forenede Boldklubber (kurz EfB, deutsch Vereinte Ballklubs Esbjergs) ist ein Fußballverein aus der dänischen Hafenstadt Esbjerg. Der Verein ging schon früh aus einem Zusammenschluss zweier lokaler Klubs hervor, wie am Namen noch zu erkennen ist. Der Club hat auch eine enge Fan-Freundschaft mit dem VfL Wolfsburg.
Esbjerg ist mit rd. 72.000 Einwohnern die siebtgrößte Stadt in Dänemark. Die Stadt liegt im Südwesten Jütlands. Esbjerg ist die einzige ökonomisch bedeutende Hafenstadt an der dänischen Nordseeküste. Nachdem Dänemark im Deutsch-Dänischen Krieg 1864 die Herzogtümer Schleswig und Holstein verloren hatte, gab es im Königreich keinen leistungsstarken Hafen an der Nordsee. Deshalb beschloss die Regierung im Jahr 1869 den Bau eines Hafens in Esbjerg, der zugleich einen Eisenbahnanschluss erhielt. Der Bau dieses neuen befestigten Hafens bewirkte, dass Fischerei und Seefahrt aus den umliegenden Gebieten nach Esbjerg zogen und der Ort einen schnellen Aufschwung erlebte. Der Hafen musste mehrfach erweitert werden. Die Stadt war bis vor kurzem von der Fischerei geprägt, doch hat jener Wirtschaftszweig in den letzten Jahren einen Niedergang erlebt. Heute spielt der Offshore-Bereich eine große Rolle für die Wirtschaft der Stadt. Außerdem werden Kühlelemente hergestellt (Vestfrost).
Vor der Stadt liegt die Insel Fanø und nordwestlich die Halbinsel Skallingen

Bereits in den Spielzeiten 14 bis 19 nahm Esbjerg FB am Spielbetrieb des Länderverbundes Skandinavien teil. Nachdem der Verein einige Zeit in den Niederungen des Amateuronlinefußball verschwunden war, sorgte eine Initiative des Managers Sephiroth dafür, dass Esbjerg zur Saison 29 in die Skandinavia 2 und schließlich zur Saison 33 in die Skandinavia 1 zurückkehrte.
