Die Saison 69 begann am 28.03.2022 und endete am 27.06.2022 mit dem Saisonübergang zu Saison 70. Der erste Liga-TAT wurde am 16.04.2022 ausgespielt.

Neuerungen
4. Liga in Deutschland
Zu Saisonbeginn wurde wieder eine 4. Liga in Deutschland installiert, die auch wieder als Regionalliga bezeichnet wurde. Diese Liga war hauptsächliche dafür gedacht, weiteren Managern eine Gastbetreuung anbieten zu können. Die Liga bestand 10 Vereinen, die man im Forum vorschlagen konnte.
Vereinsnamen in Deutschland
Im Zusammenhang mit dem Neustart der Regionalliga wurde den deutschen Vereinen allgemein erlaubt, einen Namenszusatz zu führen, sofern dieser nicht namensrechtlich geschützt ist. Bis dahin wurden in Deutschland als Vereinsnamen fast ausschließlich nur die Städtenamen benutzt (Ausnahmen z.B. Rot-Weiß München, Schwarz-Gelb Dresden, Blau-Weiß Berlin, Blau-Weiß Hamburg, Rot-Weiß Stuttgart).
Ereignisse
Zum Überfall Russlands auf die Ukraine am 24.02.2022 gaben die Admins am 29.03.2022 folgende Stellungnahme ab:
"Liebe Manager und Managerinnen,
wir vom BMO distanzieren uns deutlich von dem Angriffskrieg, welcher in der Ukraine von Russland geführt wird und verurteilen diesen aufs Schärfste. Wir haben uns aber dennoch aus folgendem Grund dazu entschlossen, die russischen Teams und Spieler nicht aus dem Spiel zu entfernen:
Der BMO ist eine komplett fiktive Welt ohne jeglichen Bezug zur Realität. In anderen Spielen (PC, Konsole etc.) und Wettbewerben wurden russische Teams ausgeschlossen, dies steht aber immer im Bezug zur Realität. Entweder durch echte Wettbewerbe oder Spiele mit Bezug zu diesen echten Wettbewerben. Eine Sanktion in Form vom Entfernen der russischen Teams oder Spieler macht hier entsprechend keinen Sinn und hat auch keinerlei Einfluss auf Russland.
Wir freuen uns natürlich, dass unser BMO sich solidarisch mit der Ukraine zeigen möchte und begrüßen jegliches Engagement von euch, um die Ukraine zu unterstützen.
Denkt aber bitte daran, dass der BMO ein Ort ist, um vom Alltag abzuschalten, daher halten wir eigentlich sehr bewusst solche politischen Themen aus dem Alltag des BMO heraus.
