Dundee United - Healys Heimat
Seine Karriere begann Davud Healy im zarten Alter von 14 Jahre bei Dundee United. Konstanz und langsame Entwicklung waren das Motto bei gerbi76. Bis Saison 21 spielte Healy zunächst in der Jugendmannschaft von Dundee United, danach wechselte er in die Profimannschaft. Dort erlebte er sehr wechselhafte Zeiten. 3 Aufstiege und 4 Abstiege erlebte er. Seine Entwicklung verlangsamte sich dadurch, wurde aber niemals ganz aufgehalten. In Saison 29, einer katastrophalen Saison in Schottlands zweiter Liga führte dann jedoch zur ersten Abwertung in der Karriere von Davud Healy. Von Stärke 8 ging es auf Stärke 7 zurück. In Saison 30 konnte er sich davon wieder erholen und wurde erneut aufgewertet. Als in Saison 32 Dundee United immer noch in der zweiten Liga verweilte, drängte Healy auf einen Wechsel. Und auch Manager gerbi76 sah nun eine gute Gelegenheit, den Verein durch einen Verkauf finanziell zu sanieren. Marquinho meldete sich als möglicher Interessent und für eine Ablöse von 10,5 Mio € durfte Healy noch in der Saisonvorbereitung zu CS Marítimo Funchal wechseln.
CS Marítimo Funchal (seit Saison 32)
Bei CS Marítimo Funchal war Healy als Stammspieler in der Abwehrkette eingeplant. Neben den beiden bereits älteren Stützen José Carlos Sampaio und Hames Fallon sollte Healy langsam ans Team herangeführt werden und die neue Abwehrgeneration einläuten. Für seine regelmäßigen Einsätze wurde er zur Winterpause mit einer Aufwertung belohnt. Stärke 9 hatte er nun erreicht und gilt seitdem als feste Größe in der Abwehr. 25 Einsätze in Saison 32 und 31 Einsätze in Saison 33 belegen dies.
In Saison 34 verlängerte er noch vor der Winterpause seinen Vertrag um weitere 3 Jahre.
