Der Krefelder Fußballclub Uerdingen 05 e. V. (von 1953 bis 1995 FC Bayer 05 Uerdingen), kurz KFC Uerdingen 05 oder KFC Uerdingen genannt, ist ein 1905 in der damals selbstständigen Stadt Uerdingen gegründeter Fußballverein, der im heutigen Krefelder Stadtteil Uerdingen beheimatet ist. Im BMO-Universum firmiert der Klub seit der Saison 69 als FC Uerdingen 05.

Uerdingen liegt am linken Rheinufer ist ein Stadtteil und Bezirk der kreisfreien Stadt Krefeld mit etwa 18.000 Einwohnern. Der Ort erhielt im Jahr 1255 Stadtrechte und wurde 1929 Teil von Krefeld-Uerdingen am Rhein. Bekanntheit erreichte er durch Erzeugnisse der Weinbrennerei Dujardin, den Uerdinger Schienenbus und ein Werk des Chemiekonzerns Bayer.
