Technischer Hintergrund
Hardware
Der BMO wird derzeit auf einem AMD Athlon 64 3700+ Server mit 1 GB DDR400 RAM und 2 x 160 GB SATA Festplatten betrieben.
Software
Alle Scripte des BMO wurden von verschiedenen Programmierern die allesamt ehrenamtlich arbeiteten entwickelt. Der komplette Code basiert auf der Programmiersprache PHP und bezieht seine Daten aus derzeit 4 MySQL Datenbanken.
Alle Scripte zusammen gerechnet belegen rund 1 GigaByte Webspace. Die vier Datenbanken ca. weitere 300 MegaByte.
