Jedes der 12 Teams der Liga tritt in zwei Hin- und zwei Rückspielen gegen jeden anderen Verein der Alpen-Amateurliga B an.
Die Mannschaft mit den meisten Punkten aus allen Spielen wird Alpen-Amateurliga B-Meister.
Aus der Alpen-Amateurliga B steigen die ersten zwei Mannschaften in die Alpen-Amateurliga A, die höchste Amateur-Spielklasse, auf.
