In der Jubiläumssaison des BMO gab es ein paar Neuerungen: Die beiden neuen Ligen (Skandinavien und Osteuropa) wurden erfolgreich eingeführt. Das Transfersystem wurde komplett überarbeitet (Kuma) und es gab eine Menge neuer Statistiken (Lex) zu bewundern. Mit den G5 und den Richtern wurden zwei neue Gremien vom Rat ernannt um in Zukunft Entscheidungen schneller treffen zu können.
Das BMO-Forum wurde wegen zu hoher Trafficlast auf einen externen Server ausgelagert, den Manager Jasu zur Verfügung stellt.
